West Swindon Family Hub
Our Family Hub is run in partnership with the West Swindon Parish Council We run a range of classes to help mothers and expecting mothers look after their babies, find work and stay healthy. Classes will run every Tuesday morning from 10am to 1pm. The only time we don’t run any classes is during Christmas and Easter week.
All of the Family Hub classes are run from the toothill church building in West Swindon at Dunwich Drive, Toothill, Swindon, SN5 8SX.

There is a confusingly large variety of different slings available, and it can be hard to know which one is right for you. Sling library session can help parents to choose a sling which is prefect for them, while making sure they know how to use them safely.
Our parenting classes are suitable for new mothers, expecting mothers and parents and carers with children up to the age of 5. Classes will help you learn about different parenting styles, playing with your child, understanding their behaviours and how to care for them.
Getting breastfeeding assistance when you need it is vital. Our breastfeeding group is here to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Our experienced breastfeeding counsellors are on hand every week to support and give information every step of your breastfeeding journey.
Healthy food is essential for babies and this class will tell you why. You’ll learn when to move your baby onto solid food and great ideas for healthy and delicious baby food.
This class will tackle everything you need to know about moving your baby onto solid foods. Topics will cover managing milk feeds, making purees and balancing diets.

Cloth nappies are easy to use and environmentally friendly. If you would like to use cloth nappies, you can learn all about them at our Nappy Library.
Mum and baby relaxation sessions will include singing, chanting, and breathing exercises to calm mum and baby. A chance to ‘just be’ with other new mums and babies. Join Jen a yoga teacher for a cup of tea and a sharing of techniques that may help to relax you and your baby. These will be baby led sessions!!
Kid’s yoga
A chance for smaller people to try out yoga and experience the benefits of the practice of Hatha Yoga which can help to calm even the busiest minds and bodies!
Relax and sooth your baby by learning baby massage. You can meet other mothers and support your baby’s development.
Our antenatal classes will help you prepare for birth in a fun and informative way. You’ll learn how to feed your baby, stay healthy and meet other expecting mothers.
Baby Sensory classes are where you can learn how to stimulate your new baby through creative play, movement and textures. You can repeat these at home to develop your baby’s speech and language skills.
The Baby Bump class is suitable for pre-natal mothers. Experienced nurses run these classes and will tell you the best ways to prepare for your birth. They’ll also be able to answer any questions you have and provide general help and support.
Returning to the workplace can be a bit daunting, especially if you’ve been out work for a few years. Our Back to Work classes will provide you with the help and guidance you need to find your way back into employment.
